    3. It would be a loss of gargantuan proportion if the Queensland State Library and museum was destroyed. My GGGrandfather August Friedrich Trost took out his citizenship and I managed to access his information on a microfilm at the LDS library. the note accompanying the microfilm said that the record had been damaged in a flood in Brisbane and mildew had made most records unreadable - but my GGGrandfather's record was one that was still clear enough to read. Lets hope that they do not have their valuable records in the basement like they did for his record. Have watched the video's and cannot believe the devastation in Toowoomba. My heart and prayers go out for the folks in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley and points east and for the folks in Brisbane. Lets hope that the Wivenhoe dam does not give way under the pressure of so much water. Have been in contact by email and skype with family and friends and all are accounted for except a stepbrother and his family who live at Caboolture. Beverly still living with Icy conditions after a very heavy snowstorm December 29-31 in Prescott, Arizona, USA.

    2. The public attend the 3rd floor to view mircofilms etc. as that is is where the public copies are mostly kept. I wouldn't be surprised, AT MOST, if the car park basement gets flooded though.
