Dear All, After a lengthy break I am reposting my family interest. I am seeking information/links to Charles Edward Augstein who migrated in 1850 from Danzig [via Hamburg on the "Dockenhuden' He arrived in Moreton Bay in 1851 and worked for a Mr White at Logan. He married Joanna Maria Hattes [Hattas/Hatje/etc]. In 1854 he set himself up as a baker/confectioner at Kangaroo Point. Later he obtained a property at Rocky Waterholes [Rocklea] Charles Edward and Joanna M<aria had the following children - Rosalie Emilie m Dr Albert Hubert Emmelhainz Charles Edward m Eleanor Carter Gustav Adolf m Ida Reisky Sophia George John Christopher Clara Bertha m Henry cecil Albert Augustus m Anne Amy Holligum[Houghton] Josephine Any information would be greatly received, Thanking you in advance Pauline
