    3. Dear List I thought I would introduce you to this mailing list..It has been established only 5 months ago... .I know some of you don't want to join anymore lists at the moment, but the benefit of the "group" mailing list is, that you can also keep up with the messages in 'no-mail' mode as well as digest mode.. One of the big benefits of this list is, the list owner actually lives in Ireland and knows so much about what information is available... The database also has documents posted which assist with Genealogical research in Ireland.. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Y-IRL/ This group is for those who seek information on their Irish ancestors. Many begin to research their ancestry looking for names to link to and find over time that they become interested in the lives of those ancestors, the people they were. Ireland Genealogy will hopefully provide information from Irish archival records as well as information from other countries provided by researchers around the world. It is hoped that those of the Irish Diaspora and those who live in Ireland will come to learn more about being Irish through this group - as well as finding genealogical information in the strictest definition of the word 'genealogy' Best of luck in your searches.. Gay

    3. Dear Bev, Thank you for checking your Schultz data base for me. Sorry I have no idea in which Irish county Hannah/Anna Mc Bride was born. I agree with Denise, it would be great if someone could set up a "German-Irish Connection List", that way we could include subscribers from all states with these family links. I will soon have my own computer and addy so until then, I won't join any more lists. I do not have Eric's addy perhaps he will see your request and e-mail you himself. Have you ordered "Finding Records of your Ancestors Part A Denmark" #36577 from the LDS distribution centre yet? I am looking forward to the German one when it's released later this year. So instead of taking Qld adding NSW and then perhaps on and on, may I suggest (don't shoot me down in flames please (grin) )that we have a German -Irish AUS list. In the course of my research of the north east of Victoria I"ve noticed few GErman - Irish relationships, and of course lots of Germans, some of whom ended up in NSW and Queensland. Anyone out there willing to "operate" a GErman/Irish Aus list? In the meantime I do have the P/Godeffroy list into Sydney in 1852 and the Victoria into Melbourne in 1854 if anyone would like a look up. Denise
