Good Morning, This must have come from one of my old Queenslander papers, no date has been written on the copy that I made on the back of an old envelope. It looks as though the paper would have been badly damaged and the rest thrwon away, with me being able to rescue this fragment of news. If someone has this couple in their tree can you please let me know tha date of the wedding, so that I can add it to my index cards. Also, whatever the date of the wedding it would be easy enough to get a copy of this clipping by looking at the following two Saturdays papers after the event. A German Wedding in the West Moreton. The wedding party going to the church decorated German waggons. The bride was Miss Johanna NAUMANN, daughter of Mrs. M. NAUMANN of Warwick, and the bridegroom Mr. Leopold SCHULTZ, son of Mr. Charles SCHULTZ, a farmer of Ropely, near Gatton. There were over 300 invited guests. A salute of about 30 guns was fired on the night before the ceremony, and a general celebration was maintained for a week afterwards, according to German custom.
