    1. Researching HEINEMANN, ROSER/ROEHSER
    2. JOHN WATT
    3. Hi Jean My GGfather PETER HEINEMANN married MARGARET ROSER in Toowoomba 4 August 1872. I haven't gone too far with my research on this line of the family but have a number of scattered threads and some probable connections. On the shipping records the most likely for my family and a possible for your research (ages and dates aren't in agreement with your message though) is the "CESAR GODEFFROY" departed Hamburg 27/10/1855 with HEINEMANN family JOH.. (age 42), MARGARETHA (29), MARIA (21), HEINRICH (19), CARL (16), CONRAD (10) and JOHANN PETER (infant). I suspect that the youngest is my PETER (given that it was fairly common to take on your middle name) but haven't progressed this. The family was from Obernorcke in Hessen ...... I can't find this town(?) ...... my PETER was from Selters in Hessen and I hope to connect all this. Another shipping record which looks good at least for the age of your JOHANNES is the "JOHAN CESAR" departed 30/9/1855 carrying JOHS. (aged 29) and ELISABETH (! 24) both from Frankenburg in Hessen. My PETER and MARGARET had the following children: JOHN HENRY, ELIZABETH RACHEL, PETER ANTON, CHARLES FREDERICK, ALBERT ERNEST, WILLIAM LAWRENCE, EMILIE MAY, JOHN ARTHUR, HILDA EVELEEN ..... and finally my grandfather HERBERT VICTOR. Toowoomba and Charleville are the main areas of interest. Let me know if we are in the same HEINEMANN family and we might be able to exchange further. Regards John Watt

    3. Hi I would like to contact any descendants of Edith Klein and Leslie Bernard Glover. They were married (probably in Toowoomba) on 3 Feb 1932. Bernie worked as a railway guard in Toowoomba and at one stage they had a house in Brook St, perhaps about 1953. Later they lived at Paddington in Brisbane. They had a son Neil and a daughter Shirley who lived in Brisbane. They perhaps had another daughter also. Edith Klein was adopted, and her biological father may have been Denzin (not sure of the spelling). Ian Kelly Sandstone Point

    3. Good Morning List, I am helping a friend with her research and wonder if anyone on the list has a connection with this couple. Albert Julius Hoppe married Fredericke Bertha Platzke pre 1877. Not sure if the marriage took place in Queensland or Germany at this point. A son Albert Julius was born 6 Nov 1877 in QLD. Any help will be much appreciated. Best Wishes Sherene Tregellas Northern NSW
