Hi, Some information about the Mohr family unexpectedly popped in front of my eyes yesterday. I was in the Mountainview Herb Farm at Mt Cotton and noticed two large framed certificates of champion kelpie dogs and their pedigrees with the breeder's name MOHR - I'm almost 100% sure these were nineteenth century. Regards, Fay

Hi My name is Chris Schmidt. I am tracing the descendents of Wilhelm Friedrich Kapernick who arrived in 1880 on board the "Dunbar Castle" with his wife Hermine Anna Luise Schmidt. I am also tracing the descendents of his two brothers Carl Friedrich Wilhelm And Hermann Friedrich Wilhelm - my great-grandfather- who arrived on board the "Duke Of Sutherland" in 1888. If anyone thinks they are related or has knowledge of their families please contact me at chrisschmidt@iprimus.com.au or call me on 0409 058 396. By the way, does anyone have any thoughts on tracing ancestors from Pommerania and living relatives in that area which is now part of Poland? Thank you. Yours sincerely Chris Schmidt
