Hi Bev Do you know if copies of this book are available still and where from? ROSE comes into my BEUTEL research. I actually can't get into my family file as it is on a laptop I can't get into at the moment. I believe, though, you may have sent me some information previously. If you can see the BEUTEL connections, any information you can send me would be appreciated. Coin, I shouldn't have said "connection" at all really! My grandfather, Adolph WENCK, had a brother Carl who married Emma WRUCK. Emma died early and her three babies died soon after birth. Emma had a brother called Carl Heinrich Bruno WRUCK and he married Justine ROSE. Justine Rose's mother was a WRUCK and Carl and Justine were cousins. To sort out the WRUCK family in my mind, I searched indexes and recorded many of the early WRUCK families. I was told by a relative who recently phoned one of the WRUCK family members living in Boonah that there was a ROSE family book and that he had a copy. I would be happy to share what I have. Most of it is on my website. If it is ROSE you are interested in, have a look here: http://colston-wenck.com/getperson.php?personID=I5542&tree=colstonwenck Jennifer Melbourne -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Colin Larter Sent: Tuesday, 1 April 2008 9:39 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SEQ-Germans] Rose family book Jennifer I would also be interested. I would be interested to know if there are any copies of a ROSE family book available. I don't know when it was published. I have only a tenuous connection to this name through Justine ROSE 1866-1895, daughter of Gottfried ROSE 1841-1912. Jennifer http://colston-wenck.com
