I wonder if a lister can help me with a problem. Recently my floppy disk drive gave up the ghost and I had a CD burner installed as it has a higher capacity and was the same cost as repairing the floppy. Because of all the viruses about I now desparatly want to save my family tree records onto CD, but have no idea how to go about it. I use the PAF 5 program and apparently have the Nero burner system installed. When I have my family tree program open and I go to File if I click on "Export" that seems to lead only to creating a gedcom file. I presume I have to click on 'Backup", but don't know what steps to take from there. Would some patient soul take me step by step through what is required to burn the CD?
