Qld BDM's are now consolidated 1829 to 1889 - 1890 to 1914 then 5 yearly after that for births to 1919 but there are other means to track those like school admission registers marriages 1939 deaths 1959 Also have you checked out the Rootsweb Aus Military site they might already have what you are looking for or be able t help you. BTW don't trust birth dates on military records. They lied !!!!!!!!! depending on how desperate to get in. Could be younger or older.
