I have a 1999 Street Directory for Brisbane but it is not listed. Can anyone on the list give me some idea as to where it might have been? I am aware that about the 1950's there was a major change of street names to reduce duplications and so therfore it is possible that it has been renamed. The other possibility is that it has been demolished to make way for other development. Any help would be much appreciated. Hello I am a Canberra-based Master of Arts (Art History and Curatorship) student currently enrolled in the thesis component of my course at the Australian National University. My topic is to investigate the incidence of post-mortem photographic portraiture and related issues in Victorian-era Australia. I am wondering if you might know of any appropriate images or have any text-based information about the subjects, their deaths, their families, the photographers, the studios, or any relevant information about the social contexts within which they were produced. Thank you for your time, Shelley Clarke
