I had made contact with distant family of one of them, who had shared a smashing photo of a young man proudly showing off his motorbike, and this quest that you helped with has confirmed identity. Whilst two of the crew were Bundaberg lads, Tom wasn't, but (though I am a distant pom, ignorant of the greater Brisbane area) I assume that 460 kms would not be the end of the world in Aussie terms.
