I have just joined the list and am looking for the family of Harriet Hicks. Harriet was born about 1869 in Brisbane, Australia. Harriet married Canadian, Robert Walker Ball, on Feb 19, 1890 in Brisbane, They had two children, Norman and Jack. I don't know if these children were born in Canada or Australia. Harriet returned to Canada (Ontario) with her husband. There is a possibility that her parents may be John Hicks and Emma Head. Harriet and Robert Walker Ball separated. He died in Mesa, California in 1934. I have not been able to track down where Harriet went. There has been mention that she lived in Vancouver, B. C. for a while.
