He was married to Margaret (we think) The family arrived in March 1901 and Isabella Morrison Rae Brodie Mutch McDonald (Grandma) was born on ship just off Townsville 24/03/1901- . We are under the impression the family came from Isle of Skye. I have looked up a shipping list and it could be that the ship 'Duke of Sutherland' fits this time frame. No one in the family knows where they lived or what he-Alexander- did for a living. My Grandma Isabella married and lived in NQ and is buried in Mackay. Her married name GRAY.
