    3. Dear Robbie, You may be able to get some information on a softdrink factory in Sandgate from the Sandgate Historical Society. Below is an excerpt from their webpage. Also below is an entry from the Brisbane City Council library online catalogue for a photo of Tristram's softdrink factory at West End from 1949. Also, the first item below is the message from Ken Edwards from June 2004, which I think may be the message that Margaret is referring to. Best of luck with your research Robbie. Perhaps you could post a photo of the bottle of the words and symbol from the bottle to the list. Happy searching! Kind regards, Donna in Singapore. A while back, there was someone who was collecting information re soft drink factories in Brisbane, including Sandgate.....hope this helps Robbie. I don't know where you got my email addy from. Margaret Otto Hi, My name is Robbie Mazlin from Victoria Point Queensland. I am twelve years old. While visiting Rainbow Beach recently I found an old lemonade bottle with the following markings on it: "this bottle is property of W Mann and A Paff Sandgate" and an intricate symbol to represent their initials. I've tried to find the history of this company but as yet have had no luck. I'm hopping that you may have some information on them or may be able to direct me to someone else who does. Incidentally, I have a link to Sandgate my self, in that my grandparents Doug and Joan Mazlin owned Mazlin's Menswear for many years.
