Hi to all on list, I am looking for a man who was possibly buried in the mid 1890s cemetery connected to the old Goodna Asylum. He has no death registration. His last known place of residence was the Dunwich Asylum and I believe he may have been transferred from there to Goodna. I have been told that a lot of buriels took place at Goodna for which no death certificates were issued. I have also been told that the old cemetery was inundated in the Brisbane floods of 1974 and after this all the old headstones were cleared and the cemetery abandoned. I have driven around the grounds of the asylum and there is no evidence to suggest any cemetery ever existed. Is there anyone on the list who can tell me if the above facts are correct. Also does anyone hold a buriel book or records for both Dunwich and Goodna (possibly the Health Department?) Thanks, Carol Wood Brisbane Qld Australia
