Is there anyone out there researching any of the following SHANNON families SHANNON Henry b 1874 Wollongong m Eliza Mary COOPER 1896 North Pine, Qld. Eliza was born in Jersey, Channel Islands and came to Australia with her parents George Henry COOPER and Eliza PIKE who were both school teachers. George was teaching at Harrisons Pocket from 1892 to 1903. I understand that is where the dam wall is now. The children of Henry & Eliza Shannon were John Joseph b 1899 Catherine b 1896 George Henry b 1903 Joseph Thomas b 1907 The family later moved to Sydney where Eliza died in 1945, and Catherine died in 1934. Does anyone know of a LYNCH family in this area at that time?
