Dear Listers We have a birth for Doris Regina WILDE b 1.10.1895 Queensland Reg # B057381. Doris married my wifes uncle Charles BOOTH and died in Queensland probably in the 1960's We have no other information and would be pleased to have some help in adding to or family tree. Charles and Doris were in New Guinea in the 1920's where Charles was involved in gold mining, while Doris, who was a nurse, did work with the natives helping to cure their ills. Doris wrote a book titled "Mountains Gold and Cannibals" about their time in the islands. We have a copy of this comparitavely rare book which is very interesting, although we know little of this couple other than her grandparents, parents uncles and aunts and siblings.
