The Hapgoods that I have are from Somerset (My Grand Aunt Florence Dobson married in Mooloolah Joseph Hapgood b. 1901 Milton, NSW) - Joseph's grandparents were George & Hannah Hapgood emigrated on the Lady Ann from Somerset with a brother Thomas & Esther. I don't know if they would be connected - haven't researched any further back on that branch.
