    3. Once you have ruled out a burial in a Brisbane City Council cemetery, the next most likely scenario is cremation at Mt Thompson Crematorium (the only crematorium in Brisbane in that time frame). See here for contact details (no online list of cremations unfortunately): http://www.mtthompsoncrem.com.au/driver.asp?page=/contact+us Kerry -----Original Message----- From: aus-qld-brisbane-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-qld-brisbane-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of rhonda maher Sent: Tuesday, 13 January 2009 8:37 PM To: aus-qld-brisbane@rootsweb.com Subject: [AUS-QLD-BRISBANE] Death notice and Cemetery location Is there any one that may be able to help me out please. I have a date of death of Frank William Allwood who died 11-01-1956. I am trying to locate his grave site in the Brisbane area somewhere also his death notice. I know that if I buy the death certificate it will have the where abouts on it but due to the cost I do not feel that I want to do that as yet. Has anyone any suggestions please how I can locate either of these please. Can anyone suggest where he may have been buried. I have found him in 1936 in the Albion area of Brisbane.
