    1. Re: [AQ-BRISBANE] DAVIDSON marriages
    2. Rosemary Davidson
    3. Hello Werona Thank you for your email. I don't know of any middle names but I think that our James probably married Ruby Annie (surname unknown) and had a daughter Daphne Ruby DAVIDSON. They are all buried in the South Brisbane Cemetery so I may need a headstone transcription to find further information. I have only just started searching this family in Queensland so am still trying to find out what records are available, especially online as I can't see me being lucky enough to visit Brisbane! Thank you for your help although as yet I haven't found any links to these 1920-1924 marriages. 2. Bill and Lone
    3. Dear List, I'm new to Queensland family History research so please bear with me! Eugene Henry GURTNER married Maud IRELAND in Annandale NSW in 1915. Lack of birth details for Eugene in the NSW index would tend to indicate that he migrated to NSW prior to 1935. They later moved to Queensland sometime after 1922 when their son Keith was born. They had at least two other children, Esma who died in Paddington 1916 - shortly after birth and Eugene John who died in NSW in 1974. This may mean that they were in NSW long enough for Their son Eugene to remain when they left for Qid.or that he returned to NSW later. Keith GURTNER, (son of Eugene and Maud) married Violette Victoria PATTERSON and died in Mount Olive Hospital in 1997 - Violette remains living in an OP home in Brisbane. Violette's father William PATTERSON was in WW1 and married Charlotte Alice DUBOILE while on service in France - he returned to Australia with his wife. They had at least two daughters - Violette (refer above) and Rosetta) - both born in Brisbane. I would appreciate if anyone is in a position to assist with missing links or information on extended familles. Kind regards Bill White - Cairns

    3. Hi Shirley, No - it doesn't mention age. You'd only be able to find that out if you ordered the certificate. Assisted immigration, up to 1884 can be checked on-line up to 1884. Unfortunately, there is not much else available on-line for Queensland. http://www.archives.qld.gov.au/research/indexes.asp The archives have an article on immigration on their site too. http://www.archives.qld.gov.au/downloads/BriefGuides/BG16Immigration.pdf Regards Werona -----Original Message----- From: Shirley Beales [mailto:shirleybeales@bigpond.com] Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 7:23 PM To: AUS-QLD-BRISBANE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AQ-BRISBANE] Samuel James Dutton Well there are a couple of things actually does it mention Cecilia or Richard's age ,I could then double check that the census entry for Cecilia is really her, and follow this up by checking the shipping list to see how she came to be here in Australia, and who she came here with.Which is the best site for me to check the shipping lists ?And can they be checked online at all?I also see that we had been spelling Cort 'Court'now this will make a difference don't you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!These are definitely the correct family thanks again Werona..... 3. Hello Werona Sorry to be a pain again, if you have access to Qld deaths, can you check please, for any Reilly death between about 1865 & 1873. As I have a few births before John & Bridget's marriage, possibly John was married previously & she died.
