The Marburg Valley was once known as Sally Owen's Plain. She was the widow of Samuel Owens who had the Woolpack inn at Old man's Waterhole (Laidley). She remarried in the 1860s and died as Sarah Stubbs at Ipswich 4th Dec 1861. The death Cert says she was buried in Ipswich. I can't locate the gravesite however. Does Anybody have a suggestion?
