    1. [AUS-QLD] State Archive help please

    3. Hi all, While reviewing some old research on my CASEY family, I came across some info. That could use a recheck but I don't get to the Qld State Archives anymore. If some kind soul is in the position to help it would be appreciated. I am looking for the following passengers on a Flying Cloud passenger list. (They are not on the online indexes). I can't find my copy of the research but had the following together on a Flying Cloud voyage in arriving Brisbane February 1863. Michael Casey age 24 Ellen Casey would have been 17/18 And John Casey... would have been 19/20/21 Michael is my ancestor and I have long held the suspicion that Ellen and John were siblings of his. I did purchase death certificates for these individuals (both listed the same father as my Michael and the father's occupation was also consistent. Ellen's death certificate had a different mother and John's had no mother listed. Both the death certificates listed them as having been in the colonies for the appropriate amount of time for the Flying Cloud voyage. Something I had not (or have forgotten if I had) chased up, is that John's death certificate says he was married in Ireland the year before the voyage. He had two children out here so... If someone is going to the Archives and has the time could they please check this voyage, Michael and Ellen were both single but I need to know if the John listed was married and if he was there should also be his wife Margaret on the same voyage. All irish and John was a carpenter. I wish now that I had ordered Ellen's marriage cert. from the archives, back when they were cheap, to see if there was any further info. (place of birth? Instead of just county Cork). But going over the info. Again now I have seen she was married here in Warwick so I will be going to the church to see what info. They hold there. The government marriage entry for my Michael didn't have his parent's names yet the church register did.. Any help appreciated. Amanda
