Helen, Just had another thought. In fact just today I phoned the Qld State Archives asking if they wanted some old Documents [almost went through the shredder] and photo's that I have. Yes, of course they do. One photo was of a Light House Keeper and he is old looking in the photo, so maybe he is your man.
