Not an answer to your question but a few more clues. In 1963, the electoral roll has this couple living at 367 Cavendish Road Coorparoo. In 1968, Harriett is there on her own (consistent with Alfred's death in 1967). I cannot find any subsequent entries for Harriett, so I am guessing she died within the next few years. I presume you have already checked the Brisbane City Council burials and the Nudgee Catholic burials (both online) and not found them in either of these?
