His death is indexed under NSW records 1928 son of Charles & Eileen, Culcairn Strangely theres a ref to a Charles COLES d 2 Feb 1928 in the NSW Probate indexes but of Paddington ( inner Sydney suburb) ref # 150558, but only one death indexed for someone of that name in that year In the only Death Notice in Brisbane Courier, Qld: Tuesday 7 February 1928: COLES.-Charles Coles (Nats), suddenly, February 2nd, beloved husband of Maude Coles, 145 Womerah Avenue, >late 43 Twine street, Wickham terrace. Cant explain the above According to his Death Certificate he was buried on 4th Feb 1928. Minister, W Payne (Methodist) and Undertaker John S Gamble. I've tried the Uniting >Church who have no record of the service. John Stanley GAMBLE is in the NSW e rolls being a builder of Culcairn to mid 1950's Considering that the notice was in a Brisbane newspaper I thought that >perhaps he may be buried somewhere in Queensland.
