Hi Greg, You tell how often I check this email address. I didn't ever hear about a cemetery on the Esplanade. If you ever find where it was could you email me please. I know you contaceted me about meeting up and I would still love to do that. Now that things have settled down kinda we should make a day. Cheers, Jane       I spent the first 17 years living 100 yards from the gates to the cemetery in Cairns at the junction of Anderson, Martyn and James Streets and often roamed throught the bush in McLeod Street which turned out to be the Pioneer Cemetery where my G Grandfather, Edward Alfred DAVIS is buried (and didn't know at the time) but have just come across a person with these remarks - "dau/Edward & Jane Isabella (McGregor); bur Esplanade Cemetery" Has anyone ever heard of or know of the Esplanade Cemetery and where it would have been Greg Please remember to snip most of the earlier message before you post any reply......
