Hi Jennifer, I have some Tooheys in my family tree who married into my Hogan Family. I don't have much information on them but know there are others on the net who have looked into the various family connections in some detail. Hogans, Tooheys and Kelly's came out progressively - all from around Borrisokane in Tipperary. Michael Kelly married Bridget Toohey - could be the one on your list. I also have her sister (?) Winifred Toohey marrying my relative John Hogan b1840 Four Hogans came out progressively. James b1830 on Cambodia in 1855 Married Catherine Kelly (Michael's sister?) emigrated together and had a daughter on board boat John b1840 on Ascendant in 1858 married Bridget Toohey Rody (Roger)b 1839 also on Ascendant with John Winifred b1847 on Wansfell in 1866. Married Arthur O'Connor. All settled near each other in Brisbane valley. I don't have any information on my file about the Toohey parents but do have noted down that they were from Borrisokane. I probably have some more info from Kelly and Toohey descendants which I haven't processed to my file yet. I have some interesting info about landholdings of John Hogan and his sister Winifred Hogan and copies of correspondence with the Lands department, one handwritten by Michael (?) Have photos of Winifred Hogan Nolan but none of the others. I have a tree on Ancestry I can share with you if you thing this is the right family. Or could share a GEDCOM file and other material. Nellie Shelan (mvshelan)and Bridie Dwyer (bridiedwyer)on Ancestry are both descendants of Michael Kelly and Bridget Toohey and may have more info.
