Which is what brings me to Australia. The family I am interested in is LAZZARONI - there would appear to be few in the area around Townsville, Ingham and Halifax now, and I am hoping one of them may be related to Giuseppe (Joseph) LAZZARONI born 15th August 1917, Halifax, Queensland, Australia (according to his passport from the 1950’s – it also states he is a Cane Farmer). He came to England I believe during WW2 and married an English girl, Joan Margaret COOK, and their marriage certificate states his father as Thomas LAZZARONI (deceased). They emigrated to Australia in 1950 but returned to England in 1954, after the birth of their first child. Any help on the LAZZARONI family would be much appreciated.
