Thank you! The funeral notice says "The friends of Mrs. J. MASSEY". It doesn't say Emily. The last of the notices in the newspaper about Emily's drunkenness and other bad behaviour appears in 1880 and in the same year James and a woman named Mary Elizabeth HAIR start having children, six in total and all but one are registered under both HAIR and MASSEY. I believe that Mary Elizabeth HAIR also had a few other children under other names in 1800s and she died in 1941 I think that when the funeral notice says "The friends of Mrs. J. MASSEY" it is referring to Mary HAIR Greg
