He married ETHEL SMITH in Qld in 1931. Edward died in Toowoomba, Qld in 1974. There is a plaque for him at Mt Cootha Wall of Remembrance insinuating it was put there by children/grandchildren. His National Archives record in 1940 states he has 2 dependents under 16 years but as I know he and Ethel had no children I am wondering if he was previously married and had family.
