Thanks Marg. I had thought of the possibility of a number change which would explain it. Perhaps I should check on that. I wonder where I would find that out. The council perhaps? I know that in 1959, we lived over at Clontarf at a house which was number 44 Cornelius Street. Ian, Brisbane has lots of houses on 'double blocks', especially in areas like Northgate, so there might only be a few houses between 20 numbers, my street goes from 67-79 and there are only about 7 houses. Jill
