Morning all, I am wondering if anyone knows the were about of Glenys Maynard who used to live at Mt Perry in 1958. She graduated as a school teacher. I have found a lovely card in an OP shop with her name and a letter attached that she wrote to someone in Toowoomba. Would like to get in touch with her to see if she would like it back. 1963 electoral roll: Maynard, Glenys Mary, 21 Princess Street, Townsville, teacher 1968 electoral roll: Maynard, Glenys Mary, corner South terrace and Albemarle St, Yerongpilly, teacher Nothing after that though in the electoral roll. No sign of a Qld death, so most likely she married. However, Glenys Mary isn't a common name, so I went looking in the later electoral rolls for any Glenys Mary's and found only one and, yes, she's a teacher. 1972 electoral roll: Acton, Glenys Mary, 41 Bell Street, Townsville, teacher 1980 electoral roll: Acton, Glenys Mary, 751 Ross River Road, Upper Ross via Townsville, teacher Living at the same addresses are William Kenneth Acton, listed as clerk and trust officer, who is presumably her husband.
