And from http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~aliens/chapter_5.htm Nicholas and Madeline Tzitzeovitch/Sisovich grew bananas at Blindmouth from at least the mid 1940s until coming to Upper Burringbar around 1950. They moved onto Smiths Creek, Uki, around the mid fifties, thence Clothiers Creek and finally to retirement in Mullum about 1960. Nick was born in Yugoslavia in 1902 and landed in WA sometime in the 1930s, subsequently moving to Queensland and enlisting in Brisbane in 1940. He was a member of the Mullumbimby sub-branch of the Legion of Ex-servicemen and through their efforts was able to sponsor out his daughter whom he had last seen as a 2yr old. She and her husband, Alexso Spaseva, and two children, Viado and Snazanna, arrived in Mullum just after Christmas 1960. -----Original Message----- From: Kerry Raymond [mailto:kraymond@iprimus.com.au] Sent: Wednesday, 1 January 2014 5:05 PM To: 'aus-qld@rootsweb.com' Subject: RE: [AUS-QLD] Madeline Stott and Nicholas tzitzeovitch Electoral roll 1937: Mavis & Nicolas Tzitzeovitch, 65 Prospect Street, Kangaroo Point, home duties & labourer Electoral roll 1943: Madeline Mavis & Nicolos Tzitzeovitch, 260 Boundary Street, Brisbane, home duties & pantryman Electoral roll 1954: Madeline Mavis & Nicolas Tzitzeovitch, Upper Burringbar, NSW, home duties & farmer -----Original Message----- From: aus-qld-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-qld-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Greg Bugden Sent: Wednesday, 1 January 2014 11:59 AM To: AUS-QLD@rootsweb.com Subject: [AUS-QLD] Madeline Stott and Nicholas tzitzeovitch Hello I'm looking for any details (residences, employment, etc) about the above couple, my lost great-grandparents (by adoption), who lived in Brisbane in the 1920s or 1930s where they were married. They resumed residence in Brisbane later in the 1960s-1970s after a time on the north coast of NSW by which time the surname was changed to Sisorvich. They both died in Brisbane.
