Hello I have been given a copy of a missing person request, It starts: Information is requested concerning the present whereabouts of Edwin Charles St John. It goes on to give his description the date on the request is 19th February 1886 and signed by “The Officer in Charge of Detectives Brisbane. It was instigated by his sister Florence G St John. My puzzle is there is no source on the report, I have checked newspapers from the time and Googled the names but nothing give itself up! He was eventually found, I have the memoriam place in Figaro and Punch in November 1886. If anyone can help find the origin of the missing person request I would be very grateful. Best wishes Pat
