Hi there Lorrae, yes, already checked inquest indexes at Qld State Archive - nothing. I did searches on David Mulcahy himself, but found nothing specific about his death. Similarly I looked up the chemist Oscar Banke and aside from ads, I found a few times where he had been called as an expert witnesses in other cases (it seems he was well regarded) - but again nothing regarding anything to do with David.
