    3. Thank you, Kerry, for the explanation! I appreciate it very much!! If you look at any particular item's entry in their catalogue, you will see a field called "has digital images". If that is ticked, then it's available online. If not, it's not. When you search their catalogue, if you use the "Image Queensland" search rather than the "Archives Search", it will restrict the returned results to those that are available online, which saves you wading through items that you can't access. But be aware that most records are not digitised. They are working slowly on digitisation based on what records are most popular, e.g. immigration records. So it is probably worth knowing what is available at the archives, even if you can't immediately access it. When I've gone to this website, I only find titles of records and that's all. Are the records actually searchable online? I'm interested in anything about these two people, one of whom died there and is buried in an unmarked grave. One of them is Personnel Files http://www.archivessearch.qld.gov.au/Search/SeriesDetails.aspx?SeriesId=4485 >From there you can click on the List of Items: http://www.archivessearch.qld.gov.au/Search/ItemSearchResults.aspx?SeriesId= 4485&SeriesTitle=Personnel%20File which reveals only one entry for Charles Stanley Keen. So if this happens to be one of your family, you are in luck! Otherwise, no joy. Kerry
