Indeed it is a shame that the would be genalogical researchers of today are only gatherers and as pointed out not interested in the actual quality of their research. I have numerous examples of my family that are utterly wrong and could not have had any research done toward verification. I have supplied sources and corrections at times but nothing ever happens to correct the mistakes. I refuse to give any further information to these folk to enhance their lists or add to their already corrupt lines. It is a shame and having spent a Kings Ransom on getting my 55 years of research squeaky clean one can say it is a little frustrating ,and says more about the person doing the research than the actual tree can ever do. Once the mistakes are found their creditability is gone for all time and best place for the research is the bin. What satisfaction is there in something you can not be proud of ?
