Hi there all, a while back I think I came across a site which allowed you to type in the name of ex Qld police officers, and find out a little about their career (promotions, transfers etc.) I am trying to look for information about my uncle Laurence Stanley Meyer who became a Sgt.. in the Qld Police. He has long since retired. Rather than ring him (which I could although his memory is not what it used to be), I'd like some official sources as well. Can anyone remember such a search engine/site and/or point me in the right direction. Stephen are you thinking of the Police Gazettes or the Government Gazettes, they had appointments in them. A lot of the historical societies have them on CD. Gould genealogy has them, or just try a google search.
