    3. >any records in QLD. available to look up for divorces in the early 1900's Yes. Follow the Search Procedure for Divorces on the Qld State Archives Web site, www.archives.qld.gov.au/. The records are divided into three Supreme Court districts, so if you have the marriage certificate, check the marginal notes which should tell you the date and place of the divorce. If you don't have the certificate (which is usually in the divorce file), just follow the search procedure until you find the file. As mentioned in the book "Tips for Queensland Research" (2008 ed.) described on www.judywebster.gil.com.au/publicat.html, Supreme Court originating summonses 1901-2002 include many files involving divorce and applications for custody.
