    3. Hi list .. Maree is wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on this problem for her please ? Carl Franz Herman ZELLE or ZELLER arrived in Qld. on the ship "Susanne Goddefroy" on 17 January 1864. Carl Franz Herman ZELLE (aged 39) married 19 April, 1869 - Wilhelmine Elizabeth Louise KOENKE/(KOHNKE)(aged 24) m. 1869/C000317 (Document in Qld. says .. Herman ZELLE to Wilhelmina KOENKE.) Carl or Herman as he was sometimes known, "disappeared" between the birth of their daughter Ethel Hilda in 1881, and when his wife Wilhelmina remarried 10th January 1898/000576 to Edwin WEBBER. The 1903 Qld Electoral Roll found Edwin and Wilhelmine WEBBER living at Darley Flat, Pratten, Darling Downs. Wilhelmine Elizabeth WEBBER died in 1920 - Father: Diedrich KOENKE and Mother: Abel NOTHNAGEL. The problem is the disappearance of Carl Franz Herman ZELLER ... He is not listed on any death information .. Is there anyone who might be able to help her sort this problem out for Christmas .. ? regards, Maree Larsen ex Queenslander, now Hobart, Australia. It would appear that the Aus-Qld SE-German list have not been able to help. I know many people on this list have resources that may be able to help Maree, and all help would be gratefully appreciated. 3. You are likely to find clues about Carl in the information about family members. What do you know of his parents and siblings? Is he mentioned in their death certificates or funeral notices (as appropriate)? > when his wife Wilhelmina remarried > 10th January 1898/000576 to Edwin WEBBER. When his wife remarries, what is her "condition"? Widow? Something else? There may be a clue there. Kerry
