There is a 52 year old Jane HENDERSON arriving in 1888 on the DACCA...according to the Index. Is that a possibility? Hi Gay I thought I had searched the Index for Walker, never thought of Henderson. Not even sure where the Henderson came from. ( Certainly not in the family tree) This would be her I bet. He full name was Jane Henderson Lawton Walker but we only learned this from Qld death's. Mother had the name of Tutin so we know for sure it is her, also she is in her brothers will. What info do you get on these shipping records?? - Such as relations in Qld etc or something like that. Thanks so much Jo ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gay Fielding" <gayze@tpg.com.au> To: <aus-qld@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2009 3:02 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-QLD] Jane Henderson Walker > There is a 52 year old Jane HENDERSON arriving in 1888 on the > DACCA...according to the Index. > Is that a possibility? > Gay > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "wollar1914" <wollar1914@yahoo.com.au> > To: <kraymond@iprimus.com.au>; <aus-qld@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2009 1:42 PM > Subject: Re: [AUS-QLD] Jane Henderson Walker > > >> Thanks for that, forgot about women voting. Hi Jo, No, I have no secret for finding that record....I just simply checked the index for Immigration at Queensland State Archives... Jenelle posted the link to the Index in her message...STATE ARCHIVES OF QUEENSLAND - ASSISTED IMMIGRATION, ... I'll give you the link again... http://www.archives.qld.gov.au/research/indexes.asp After you find her on the index, you will then need to read the film to get more information to verify that it is in fact your rellie...
