    3. For the benefit of anyone who lives close enough to attend this seminar (or who, like me, will be on holidays nearby): Seminar topic: Lost In 'Black Sheep' Date: Sat. 7th - Sun. 8th Nov 2009 Venue: Orange Civic Theatre, Orange NSW If your ancestors divorced, went to gaol, ended up in an asylum, had their day in court, were destitute, deserted, bankrupt, or generally fell on hard times, then they may have left behind a wonderful paper trail! Local and Sydney-based speakers will present a weekend of lectures and help you discover how you can find out more about your very own black sheep. Speakers include Martyn KILLION (Vice President, SAG), Heather GARNSEY (Executive Officer, SAG), Christine YEATS (State Records NSW), John PARTRIDGE (formerly with Corrective Services), Angela PHIPPEN (Local and Family History Librarian) and Jan RICHARDS (Manager, Central West Libraries). A guided tour of Bloomfield Hospital (on the outskirts of Orange) by Dr John Hoskin on Saturday afternoon is also planned for registrants. Registration includes the two-day seminar, light lunches and morning and afternoon teas. The full seminar programme is on the Society of Australian Genealogists Web site, www.sag.org.au/. If you have any questions, email info@sag.org.au.
