Hi Mike, snip>> Is anyone related/researching this man and other ORR family members in South Brisbane in the 1850/60s on? << It's possible that they went to Rockhampton, but there has never been any mention of them there at all in family notes, BDM's etc. There are frequent mentions of John and James ORR at South Brisbane in newspapers of the day, cir 1854 on, Butchers and also owners of large areas of land , and also 1400 head of cattle for sale, must have been quite well off. My William ORR snr., who went to Rockhampton, had sons James and John, but their ages wouldn't fit in with the above info, they were too young, and still in Vic. at that time, though that's not proven yet.
