Hi everyone! I am looking for some deaths for a Sheehan family who immigrated to Qld about 1868. They appeared to settle in the Blackall area. Parents were William SHEEHAN and Ann HAGUE: 1. Catherine Sheehan (born about 1865 London) who married William CONNOLLY - they were living in Rockhampton. Catherine was on the 1936 Electoral Roll 2. William Sheehan born about 1868 London - mentioned as alive on mother's death cert in 1888, but not alive on father's death cert 1904. 3. Charles Sheehan born 1873 Qld and was alive 1904. I cannot find the immigration for this family either - don't seem to be mentioned in the online indexes for Qld or anywhere else. William Sheehan born abt 1835 Limerick (William Sheehan and Ann Hague married 1855 Stalybridge, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire) Ann Sheehan born abt 1828 Yorkshire James Herbert Sheehan born 1858 Tipperary Catherine Sheehan born abt 1865 London William Sheehan born abt 1868 London Mary Sheehan born 1871 Qld Charles Sheehan born 1873 Qld Would be grateful for any leads with this family. Angus, died 4.3.1925, aged 55, both buried Nudgee cemetery with their daughter Philomena Margaret CONNOLLY, died 13.91.1978, aged 73. 1922 Electoral Roll Angus CONNOLLY, Butcher & Mary, Home Duties, Rose St., Eagle Junction, Brisbane. James Henery (sic) SHEEHAN, Store Assistant & Sophia, Home Duties, Greengate Hotel, Adavale. George SHEEHAN, Groom, Adavale. Charles Edward SHEEHAN, Station Hand, Comongin Station, Quilpie. William Herbert SHEEHAN, Labourer, Adavale. Catherine CONNOLLY, died 31.12.1941 (1941/B055011), daughter of William SHEEHAN & Ann HAGUE. James Herbert married Sophia HASTED & their son Charles Edward, born Blackall 16.10.1894 & died 7.9.1951. A.C.M.F. Q223065 Private, 21st Battalion. Buried Old section, Blackall Cemetery. Another son of James & Sophia, George, died 4.1.1924 (1924/000274). There is a George SHEEHAN, buried at Quilpie, but no death date in the register, nor headstone.
