Hi The Janet ORR who died in 1856 dau of James ORR and Jane GALT that taken from the Pioneer Index.... >From the death Notice in the Paper it states Janet is the wife of Mr John ORR of Stanley Quay Stanley St. South Brisbane she is age 55 and is the dau of Mr James ORR of Stane Castle near Irvine Scotland...and that she is the sister of Rev. George ORR.. so from this I would say Janet ORR dau of James and Jane GALT is the sister of your William... and she married another ORR>. perhaps a cousin...to confuse things more... The IGI has a marriage of a John ORR born ABOUT 1801 Irvine to a Janet ORR married ABOUT 1826 in Irvine... THE following from the IGI are Children with Parents John ORR and Janet ORR born in Irvine Jean ORR 2-6-1822 John ORR born 22-3-1824 James ORR born 27-1-1827 James ORR that died 26-9-1875 in Brisbane and Burried in Sth Bris... rego states his Parents are John ORR and Janet... ***Think he is the son of John ORR and Janet ORR as rego states born Scotland age 48 which would be the one born 27-1-1827 Death Rego is 1875/B9943 Then the John ORR who died 18-10-1891 definately states his parents of John ORR and Janet ORR ref no is 1891/003465 The death of John ORR in 1871 states he is 82 and born Scotland... so possibly Janet ORR's Husband.. Newspaper articles state that Jessie ORR 3 dau of Mr John ORR of South Brisbane married a John Wylie WILSON in 1854 Fed.
