Someone else might have picked this up and I've managed to miss it, but with reference to the Sydney marriage - I'm pretty sure that in 1842 there would have been only one RC parish from Sydney up to at least Brisbane/Moreton Bay. So marriages would have been entered in the St Marys, Sydney register, regardless of where they actually took place. But quite happy to be corrected. Cheers Barbara
