    3. > Kerry, did you correct the entries as you went? Do you mean correcting the OCR-ed text on the NLA site? If so, yes and no. Some other people have done a lot of corrections on BDM notices already. In particular, one user jdickson2 had already done a huge number of corrections. But I did still find the occasional entry that had not been corrected or some that still had mistakes even after correction. So I did do some corrections when I spotted errors, but I wasn't putting any great effort in it as I was more focussed on doing the index. The dilemma I find with doing corrections is that I start out saying "I'll just quickly fix up the names so they can found by a search" and then before I know it, my perfectionism has me fixing every little word and punctuation mark and I've wasted a lot of time doing it. I love reading those old newspapers. When doing the index, I found it was very easy to get distracted reading the news of the day, but the upside of that is that I occasionally stumbled on an article about how someone died (floods, horses bolting, heatstroke, etc) and I added those to the index as I figure family historians would like to know about such articles. If anyone spots any more of them, send me the URL for the NLA page and I will add them to the index. Kerry
