Mary, why don't you use the Ask a Librarian Service through the State Library of Queensland to see if there was a funeral notice, or look at the State Archives of Queensland to see if there was an inquest. The Cairns Post is the paper up that way. Also contact the Cairns City Council, I think I gave you that burial off their city council burial site, ask them what information their cemetery has... Thanks Janelle, Actually I phoned the State Library in Queensland and they have suggested I get in touch with the Qld Archives which I have just done, requesting a look up of an inquest into a Hotel fire in Qld. with the deaths of Henry Musgrave and wife Jane.The electroll Roll shows them running a Hotel at Wolfram via Chillagoe in 1914. Will also check the Cairns Post Archives as you have suggested. Possibly the Henry Musgrave in Cairns Cemetery could be another person, but if this death took place in 1929-30, then the age is correct as he was born in 1862. Will do as you suggested and ask the Council about this burial. Thanks for all your help with this...it is turning out to be a big mystery.
