Hi Jan, Many thanks for all the information about the NEILL family...I have most of it but. I will check it with what I have found so far. The mothers name of Ann was probably short for Johanna (Guilfoyle) NEILL However. we cannot find Elizabeth Ellen/Helen/ Lena's death/burial and this is important if the family want to get her death certificate. At least, by the looks of the 1949 ELECTORAL ROLL, she was still living in Cooktown, in the street named after her. She was known as Helen and Lena which makes things a bit harder as we have to try all these names in our searches. So the search goes on.!
