Hi Listers My grandfather, was Bernard CONNOR (1842-1925).. His marriage certificate says he was a 'constable' when he married Annie HANRAHAN at Springsure, near Emerald, Queensland, in 1873. The Qld Police Gazette (1878, p. 115) shows that he was 'dismissed' from the police force in 1878 but gives no reason for the dismissal.
